First Fundraising Manager for Schoolfriend etc

Catherine Matson has been appointed the first Fundraising Manager of Schoolfriend etc, the largest charitable provider of childcare in the country, which runs over 200 clubs and operates in over a third of all local authorities.
Catherine joins Schoolfriend etc from Breast Cancer Haven where she was Trusts Fundraising Manager.
Before that, after completing an MA in Public Communications and PR in 2002, Catherine
worked as a fundraiser for The Queen’s Nursing Institute and then Diabetes UK where she focused on trusts.

At Schoolfriend etc she will be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of a new fundraising programme which will concentrate on raising funds from trusts and foundations, while exploring other potential income streams.
