Deadline extended for 2006 International ePhilanthropy Awards

The deadline for entries to this year’s International ePhilanthropy Awards has been extended to 28 July 2006.

The awards are designed to recognise those individuals, organisations and companies working in the ePhilanthropy field who have demonstrated “extraordinary talent, creativity and insight in drawing the public’s attention to the important use of the Internet for Philanthropic purposes” and/or have created services or strategies that support this effort.

Nominations will be accepted online from until 28 July 2006 for projects/programmes and campaigns that took place or concluded between 1 May 2005 and 1 May 2006.

Judging will take place in August with the awards being presented at the Harvard Club of New York on 21 September 2006.
