Integra Fundraising Attracts Four New Charity Clients at Launch

Howard Lake | 11 July 2006 | Newswire

Having firmly established its leading position in the UK membership software market, CS Group has signed up four major charity clients, including Coeliac UK, for the new Integra charity modules since its launch at the Chase 2006 exhibition in February. Integra Fundraising complements the existing enterprise-wide Integra application with a full suite of fundraising functionality.
Integra Fundraising was initially developed in response to requests from existing Integra customers, who wanted an integrated MS SQL based solution that would combine the powerful relationship management functions of CS Group’s Integra solution with tools that would help them manage their fundraising and campaign management activities. The new development includes sophisticated Campaign tracking and analysis, graphical dynamic RFV reporting, true Gift Aid processing and Fast Cash Donations.
Simon Fowler, Divisional Director at the CS Group NFP Division said: “The interest by the Voluntary Sector in Integra Fundraising since its launch has been fantastic. To be selected by four well know charities in less than four months is a terrific achievement and demonstrates the strength of the fundraising functionality the Integra Fundraising tool has to offer on top of the powerful Integra relational database”.
Coeliac UK, the only national charity working for people with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis, is one of the new Integra clients that have also selected the fundraising module. Integra will not only help Coeliac UK to manage their 70,000 members, but it will also enhance the organisation’s fundraising by incorporating regular giving and online donations with its core membership relationship management system.
Prior to selecting Integra, Coeliac UK had a number of separate databases which made it difficult for them to maintain high quality external communications. As these systems also failed to meet Coeliac UK’s needs for management information, the charity decided to replace them with an integrated software solution.
Understanding the needs of our stakeholders is a key priority to us. The goal of the new system was to help us generate more income from membership and fundraising while managing our memberships more efficiently and improving the services provided to all our contacts, including individual and corporate supporters and helpline users”, said Peter Howlett, Financial Director of Coeliac UK.
Coeliac UK worked with the Charities Technology Trust to compile a detailed tender document which was completed in November 2005. The ITT was then sent to six companies, four of which were invited to demonstrate their systems. Coeliac UK entered into more detailed discussions with two of the shortlisted companies, the other being CS Group with their Integra solution.
During this second round of sessions it became apparent to Coeliac UK that the ease of use and the strong web integration capability of Integra set the system apart from its competition. After further meetings to agree the detailed configuration of the solution, Coeliac UK reached the final decision to select Integra in June 2006.
Peter Howlett said: We believe that Integra will provide us with a good return on investment and enhance the services we offer via our website to our supporters and in particular to local committee members. Integra was our choice, because it met all the crucial business requirements of our organisation. We have very high hopes on Integra”.
Charles Bagnall, Business Consultant at CS Group said: Coeliac UK wants to communicate with its members and donors more proactively and more creatively. This provides Integra with an ideal opportunity to really prove its worth to charities of this size”.
