Peacocks wins Business Supporter award from Cancer Research UK

High Street retailer Peacocks has won Cancer Research UK’s charity’s Flame of Hope award for Business Supporter of the Year.

The award recognises the contribution Peacocks has made to Cancer Research UK through extensive in-store promotions, colleague fundraising, and customer support.

Tim Bettley, Peacocks Managing Director, said: “We are now in the second year of the partnership and with the activities we have planned during 2006 we are confident of continuing with our fundraising achievements”.

Peacocks will again be backing Cancer Research UK’s ‘All Join Together’ campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness by selling a specially created collection of fashionable pink clothing and accessories, with a percentage of all sales going to the charity. All of these exclusive items will be available through Peacocks’ 425+ stores nationwide from mid-September.
