A new multi-million pound international Lottery programme has opened to target £72 million in good cause money into poor and marginalised communities around the world through the UK’s overseas charities.

The Big Lottery Fund’s £72 million International Programme will fund projects that tackle the causes of deprivation, offering help to those most in need. The overall aims of the programme have been set in the context of the Millennium Development Goals: improved education, health, allocation of natural resources, human rights, and economic status for the most disadvantaged people.

Full details of the Big Lottery Fund programmes and grant awards are available on their website.
