Irish trust announces grant deadlines

The St. Stephen’s Green Trust’s next deadline for applications will be the middle of April, with the trust board meeting at the end of May to make grant decisions. Future deadlines will be six weeks before the end of August, November and February. St. Stephen’s Green Trust (SSGT) exists to make a positive contribution, through grant aid and advisory services, to charitable projects and initiatives that aim to tackle the issues of poverty, social exclusion,disability, discrimination, racism and injustice in Ireland.

The trust makes grants in the region of ‚€500 to ‚€15,000 and operates two grant schemes. A general scheme is open to organisations in the 32 counties of Ireland and the Darndale/Belcamp Oblates Grant Scheme which is open to organisations whose main beneficiaries are residents of the Parish of Darndale/Belcamp.

Last year the trust’s grant giving was over ‚€300,000.
