Cheshire Building Society chooses ChildLine as Charity of the Year 2006

Cheshire Building Society has announced that ChildLine will be its first ever Charity of the Year in 2006.
Funds raised by the building society will help to pay for the recruitment and training of volunteer counsellors at Childline. Staff will also be encouraged to volunteer for the charity.
Fundraising starts in May with the Manchester 10K run, in which 20 Cheshire Building Society employees will participate. Events such as skydiving and football tournaments are also in the pipeline.

The Cheshire will be working directly with and supporting ChildLine North West, which is based in Manchester.
