Scottish fundraisers surveyed about expanded Scottish conference

Howard Lake | 16 February 2006 | News

The Institute of Fundraising Scotland Executive Committee is consulting its members about plans to expand its annual conference.

Consulting via email and telephone, the Committee is seeking feedback on its plans to expand the Conference to a three-day event and offer more speaker sessions. In addition it wants to know whether its proposed fees for such an expanded event are realistic.

The annual conference is outgrowing its current venue of the Dunblane Hydro, according to the Committee. They are proposing a three day Conference to be held in Glasgow starting on 31 October 2006 and running until 2 November in the afternoon.

The Committee is asking members: “Does this sound like an improved offering to you?” and “Would your charity’s training budget allow you and your colleagues to attend at this rate?” It is seeking responses by 20 February 2006.
