Guardian prize for photo of "what you're passionate about"

Howard Lake | 13 February 2006 | News

The Guardian Weekend is offering £5,000 to the winner of its Photography Prize for an image that “tells us what you’re passionate about”. That shouldn’t prove difficult to enter for most charity staff and their supporters and volunteers.

As well as the £5,000 prize the winner will receive a commission in the Guardian’s Weekend magazine. Two runners-up will each receive £1,500.

The three winning images and 25 commended entries will all be exhibited at a central London gallery and online, so there’s even more chance for a photo showing your passion for your cause to gain a wider audience. Can anyone manage to slip their charity’s web address into the image? It’s worth a try.
