Charities and organisations carrying Plan UK’s child sponsorship banner adverts on their websites via the buy.at affiliate service are securing an average 6.8% conversion rate, according to buy.at.

Affiliates promoting Plan UK earn £20 per monthly Direct Debit sponsorship secured via their adverts for the first 49 and £30 for 50 or more. The scheme includes a 30 day cookie, meaning that buy.at affiliates can still benefit from any donation made after a visit to their site for up to 30 days.

Plan UK, the child-centred community development agency, restricts the type of websites that it will work with via buy.at. It states specifically that “this programme is… not suitable for promotion through cash-back or incentive sites.”

The relatively high current conversion rate of 6.8% demonstrates that this policy is paying off both for Plan UK and its network of buy.at affiliates organisations.

Plan UK is one of a number of charities that are partnering with buy.at to fundraise online. Buy.at creates and services online shopping malls for charities and community groups who then earn a percentage of the income from sales generated by those sites.
