HBOS chooses I CAN as 2006 charity of the year

HBOS plc today announced that I CAN has been chosen by its staff to be the “Charity of the Year” for 2006.
Through its Million £ Challenge, a year long programme of fundraising activities by staff, HBOS will give all of the money raised to ICAN, the charity to help children who have severe and complex disabilities to communicate. Any money raised above £1 million will then be split between all three shortlisted charities.
HBOS have now raised over £10 million for charity since the inception of the Challenge in 2002.
