Geraldine Peacock to move on to new challenges

Geraldine Peacock today announced her intention to move on from her role as Chief Charity Commissioner and the Commission’s first Chair-designate in early summer.

Geraldine, who was awarded a CBE in 2001, joined as a Charity Commissioner in July 2003 and was appointed Chairman by the Home Secretary in July 2004.

The recruitment process for Geraldine’s successor starts with adverts in the 22 January edition of The Sunday Times and 25 January edition of the Guardian.
