BBC Radio 4’s You and Yours consumer programme is currently discussing charity regulation in England, Wales and Scotland.
Today’s You and Yours programme features an interview with Jane Ryder, the Chief Executive of the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), and Kenneth Dibble, Executive Director, Legal and Charity Services at the Charity Commission.
The brief interview touched on the issues of the Charities Bill, the role of OSCR, control of fundraising, public trust in charities, the significance of registered charity status, and the achievements to date of the OSCR.
