BibleLands’ Christmas appeal focuses on disabled children in the Middle East, and was mailed to 34,500 existing contacts. It aims to raise £150,000.

The Appeal highlights the work of The Sheepfold, a Christian-led care centre in Shepherds’ Fields, Bethlehem. Tricia Pruden, BibleLands’ Head of Communications & Fundraising, chose The Sheepfold as the focus of the appeal after hearing the story of Jamilla, a 13-year-old girl with congenital physical disabilities and hearing impairment.

The appeal includes an online element, with the text of the appeal reproduced together with calls to donate online.
