New Scottish Community Foundation Environmental Grants

Howard Lake | 20 October 2005 | News

Funding information service SMALLfri is once again sharing some funding news with UK Fundraising. The Scottish Community Foundation (SCF) has launched a new Your Community, Your Environment Fund to help local community groups across Scotland deliver sustainable environmental projects in their area.

The programme is a one-year pilot scheme at this stage, supported by The Tubney Trust.

The emphasis is on supporting projects that are at their early stage of development and where capacity needs to be built to move to the next phase. Communities and groups can apply to develop an idea, or take their idea from its formative stages to a practical project. Projects must focus on your local environment, but must also offer economic and social benefits to the community.
