International aid and development agency World Vision have exeeded their target of 3,000 sponsors in 30 days following the charity’s ‘The BIG Month’ appeal, which ran throughout September.
This was the charity’s second annual month-long child sponsorship campaign, and it enjoyed particular success in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The appeal enjoyed support of celebrities including Claire Grogan, Paul Rankin and Dame Mary Peters.
