Commission for Racial Equality opens latest funding round

Applications are now being invited for the 2006/7 round of the Commission for Racial Equality’s (CRE) Getting Results funding programme. Grants of up to £100,000 are available.

Priority will be given to local voluntary sector organisations whose work focuses on the following areas:

*Integration or projects that bring people from all ethnic minority backgrounds together

*Inter-community conflict prevention and resolution

*Support for victims of racial discrimination and harassment including legal casework

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 4 November 2005.

The CRE will be holding a series of seminars across Britain to assist local organisations with the application process.
