Cancer Research UK's internship scheme opens

Cancer Research UK is seeking applications for its autumn Internship Scheme, with openings in fundraising, marketing, law and communications.

The unpaid placements are available in London and at regional offices. Most will be of 10 week duration with one lasting six months.

Cancer Research UK says that they are suitable for “high-calibre individuals looking to gain work experience” in the various fields.

An introduction to AI, for charity professionals, presented by Ross Angus.

Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed, and interns will receive an induction to Cancer Research UK and the wider charity sector as well as courses on CV writing, interview techniques and presentation skills.

Applications for the posts close on 30 August 2005.
