National fundraising awards ceremony to be held tonight

The Awards 2005, the national awards programme that recognises excellence in fundraising, will be held tonight at the Hilton London Metropole on the last night of the Institute of Fundraising’s national convention.
Sponsored by Charities Aid Foundation, the Awards 2005 is run by Professional Fundraising magazine and the Institute of Fundraising to promote and celebrate best practice in fundraising.
There are 11 award categories including Volunteer fundraiser of the year, Professional fundraiser of the year, and the flagship award, Lifetime achievement award.

The awards will be announced tonight at a gala dinner.
