The course is designed to train people to work with London youth clubs as volunteer grantseekers.

As part of the training delegates will discuss with the volunteer co-ordinator which London youth clubs it would be most convenient for them to work at.

They will then meet with the youth worker at the club and use their newly gained knowledge of funders and fundraising techniques to collaborate on the content, structure and wording of the youth project’s fundraising bids.

A minimum commitment of 6 months following training is asked for. However, as the funding application needs of youth clubs varies, this may not involve a regular commitment. London Youth say that they are looking for people who can commit to being “available to help our clubs for an absolute maximum of a few hours per week.”
