Charity Bank moves offices

Howard Lake | 6 July 2005 | News

Charity Bank, the country’s first fully regulated bank that is also a registered charity, has relocated to offices in Tonbridge, Kent.

Malcolm Hayday, Charity Bank’s chief executive explained the move. “Having outgrown our initial home we needed a new base. Market towns such as Tonbridge have an important role to play in the regeneration of communities so there is a wider context to our commitment to the town.”

The move keeps the bank geographically close to Charities Aid Foundation, from which it was originally formed, although it is now a separate entity.
