New head of fundraising at Book Aid

Jacqui Scott has joined Book Aid as Head of Fundraising and Communications.

Jacqui joins Book Aid from the Terrence Higgins Trust where she was Direct Marketing Manager. Before that she worked in the marketing directorate of the British Medical Journal Publishing Group.

Book Aid International is a UK-based charity which gets books into the hands of the world’s most disadvantaged and educationally deprived readers.

The charity has recently re-focused its fundraising to include a more substantial element of direct marketing.

Jacqui said: “The individual donor acquisition programme has so far proven a real success, and I am really delighted to be in a position to be able to develop that further, as well as other elements of the fundraising strategy.”
