The next dates for those taking the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) exam in the UK are 13 June, 14 September and 16 December 2005.

The CFRE, which is held by over 4,600 fundraisers in Australia, Canada, New Zealand the USA, and now the UK, is an internationally recognised credential for senior professional fundraisers.

Its introduction to the UK has been led by the Association of Fundraising Consultants (AFC). They are the only European-based participating organisation in the CFRE programme. They are holding a series of free one-hour introductory sessions in central London for those interested in taking the exam.

AFC point out that “the CFRE does not involve hours of lectures and course work. If you have the experience, a proven track record in fundraising and can find the time to prepare for and site the four-hour examination, then you too could be a CFRE.”
