Six vacancies for Institute of Fundraising's Trustees

Howard Lake | 24 May 2005 | News

Members of the Institute of Fundraising are being invited to vote for candidates for the Board of Trustees for the membership body.

There are six vacancies this year for Trustees, and the Institute has received nominations for a record 12 candidates for these places. Nominees are both current Trustees standing for a further three-year term, and new candidates applying to become Trustees for the first time.

In addition to these six vacancies, this year is the first time that the Institute is calling for Trustees to be elected from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Since they received just one nomination from each of Wales and Northern Ireland no election takes place for these posts and Martin Price and Bryan Walliker both become Trustees on 12 July 2005. There are two candidates in Scotland so an election will take place there.
