Alan Clayton to deliver the PF Scotland Lecture
Alan Clayton, the Scottish founder and Managing Director of the Cascaid Group, will deliver the PF Scotland Lecture in Edinburgh next month, entitled “Changing people, changing the world”.
Alan is a leading writer and speaker on the motives of philanthropy, or why people give. He is also a renowned expert and speaker on management, leadership and motivation in the voluntary sector.
He will give the PF Lecture at the PF Scotland event, hosted by Professional Fundraising magazine, at the Roxburghe Hotel, Edinburgh, at 6.30pm on 1 June 2005.

He will argue that fundraising changes the world: fundraising mobilises the millions, the millions apply resources, and resources change the world. Therefore fundraisers are the leaders of this movement of millions. Furthermore if fundraisers are inspirational leaders we will change the world faster.
This 6-minute lecture is unique to Scotland and builds on Alan’s experience of motivational speaking around the world. Moreover, the lecture is free to any voluntary sector worker in Scotland who wishes to attend.
