A major new foundation has recently been set up in Dublin which will focus on charitable causes both in Ireland and the developing world.

The One Foundation will operate on the principle of ‘giving while living’ and has an expected life time of 10 years. One was established by Declan Ryan whose family have a significant shareholding in Ryan Air.

The mission of the foundation is ‘working with others to overcome disadvantage and reinforce the rights of vulnerable people.’ Programmes will focus on children and anti-poverty work in Vietnam.
