Diabetes UK launch magenta wristbands

Diabetes UK has launched a magenta
wristband to raise funds for the charity.

The charity has ordered 35,000 wristbands which will retail at £1 each and be available in adult and child sizes. The
bands will feature the slogan “A future without diabetes” and the Diabetes
UK web address.

Douglas Smallwood, Chief Executive of Diabetes UK, said: “This is the first
time that Diabetes UK have sold wristbands to raise money and we hope it will be a huge success.”

Bands will be available to buy through the charity’s website, from its main London office, and via its customer services telephone line.
