£7,000 grants for projects letting children have their say

Howard Lake | 28 February 2005 | News

The Y Speak Consultation Fund (England) is offering up to £7,000 to develop consultation activities which are intended to allow children to contribute directly to decision making at local, regional, national and international levels.

The Y Speak Consultation Fund gives children and young people the chance to have their say about policies and services which affect them.

There will be three funding rounds for this scheme between April 2005 and March 2006. Applications can be made by organisations working with young people, by individuals or groups of young people to deliver their own consultation activities.
