Five Darlington charities partner to run joint fundraising activities

Five local charities in Darlington have launched the Darlington Charity Partnership (DCP) to raise funds through a series of events and joint initiatives.

The DCP consists of the Darlington & District Hospice Movement (St Teresa’s Hospice), Darlington Samaritans, Age Concern, Friends of Darlington Memorial Hospital and Darlington Mind. The partnership has secured the Darlington Building Society as main sponsor with its funding covering the advertising, printing and marketing costs of the DCP as well as its general administration expenses.

The DCP was launched by the Rt Hon Alan Milburn, MP for Darlington and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.
