Michael Grant is to take over as Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT).

Founded in 1992, WCIT is the 100th Livery Company to be founded and Michael Grant sees it as having “a vital role to play in making the benefits of IT more widely available.

“WCIT has quickly become one of the larger and most active livery companies in the City of London, particularly through the work of the WCIT Charitable Trust,” he added. “Today, WCIT has more than 650 members, all of whom have made distinguished contributions to the profession and who contribute generously of their time, talents and resources.”
