Wootton George launch new interim fundraising service

Fundraising Placements is a new service from Wootton George Consulting offers an interim fundraising solution to charities which are short staffed or wish to test a new area of fundraising.

Fundraising Placements offers both management level and practitioner level support to charities in specific fundraising techniques, to help ensure fundraising continues during the recruitment process, maternity leave or at other times of staff shortage.

Fundraising Placements is based on the Wootton George’s revenue fundraising service that has been in operation since 1998. It has a national team of 20 fundraisers.

“Given the current shortage of experienced fundraisers”, said Simon George, a Director of Wootton George Consulting, “we are finding strong demand for people with a good track record to fill the gaps, while clients seek to recruit permanent staff, or to supplement the in-house team.

“Recent assignments have ranged from single lottery bids to 18 months of support to develop trust fundraising.”

There is no recruitment fee and work is charged at an agreed daily rate.
