Finbar Cullen sets up new fundraising research consultancy

Research specialist Finbar Cullen has set up ResearchPlus, a new consultancy offering a range of services to fundraisers including fundraising and prospect research, training, consultancy and mentoring.
Finbar has worked in the voluntary sector for over twenty years. He has been a prospect researcher since 1999, working as a senior researcher at The Factary and working for Children’s Hospice South West as their prospect researcher on their £15 million major capital appeal for over two years. His expertise covers research into all the main sources of funding, including individuals, companies, and grant-making trusts. He also has a very good grasp of the numerous online research tools.
Finbar is a member of the Researchers in Fundraising (RiF) committee, and also volunteers on their Data Protection and Training Action Groups.

After a successful presentation on free research resources at the November 2004 Researchers in Fundraising conference in London he will be presenting again at the Institute of Fundraising South West conference in March 2005.
