Bogus envelope collection for tsunami appeal in Colchester

Essex Police have warned people in Colchester not to respond to envelopes posted through letterboxes asking for donations for the victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.

The envelopes encourage householders to have the money ready for collection, reports the BBC. The police said that two men were currently helping them with their enquiries.
