Community Channel broadcasts its corporate Christmas card

Howard Lake | 24 December 2004 | News

While many voluntary organisations are opting to send e-cards rather than printed cards this Christmas, the Community Channel is intentionally standing out from the crowd by broadcasting its Christmas card on TV.

The Community Channel is about to offer what it claims will be the world’s first broadcast TV Christmas card. It will be broadcast nine times throughout 23 December 2004.

If you miss it it will also be available on the channel’s Web site from 24 December.

Next year the Community Channel plans to offer businesses the chance to broadcast
their Christmas Cards on the channel in the same way, in exchange for a donation to a good cause.
