Google to digitise Harvard and Oxford's libraries' content
Search engine company Google is to digitise many of the volumes in the libraries of the major international universities of Harvard, Oxford, Stanford, the University of Michigan, and the New York Public Library.
Although full details of the partnership and the level of financial or other support offered are not yet available, it seems that in the UK’s case, this offers a chance to reverse the failed application for funding by the British Library to digitise its volumes.
