Debrett’s guide to the aristocracy sold for £1 million

Publisher SPG Media has sold Debrett’s, which publishes guides to the UK’s aristocracy and to etiquette, to Devonshire Media, a privately owned company.
Debrett’s are specialists in biographical reference books and some of their titles, such as “People of Today”, are popular with fundraising researchers. The company has been selling books since 1769.
