Scotland's historic properties earn income for National Trust

Howard Lake | 1 December 2004 | News

The National Trust for Scotland’s portfolio of historic properties is being promoted as venues for corporate and private events to generate income for the charity.

Over 20 venues are featured in the charity’s brochure which has just been published. The Trust says that it can offer venues appropriate for elaborate banquets, product launches and champagne receptions and customers can choose from castles, palaces, mansion houses or gardens across the country.

The Trust has events managers based at each venue, and they partner with event suppliers to provide entertainment, food and marquees.
