Tesco chooses its Charity of the Year 2005
Age Concern has been chosen as Tesco Charity of the Year, 2005. The partnership aims to
raise £2 million to improve the lives of the poorest and most isolated older people in the UK.
More than 500 Age Concerns and Tesco stores across the UK will be raising money to benefit directly their local communities.
Tesco’s 200,000 employees will have the opportunity to raise funds through events to be held throughout the year, as well as via payroll giving.
