Why leave nude fundraising calendars to the volunteers?

Professional Fundraising magazine’s diarist Raizer points out in the latest issue that all the many nude fundraising calendars are populated by charity volunteers. Where are the professional fundraisers in this phenomenon, she asks?
“Where is the professional fundraisers naked charity calendar?” asks Raizer. She adds the ‘Strip for Shelter’ sounds right, but is a completely different fundraising idea.
Raizer suggests that the first charity to get its fundraising department to produce such a calendar would certainly generate a good deal of publicity and perhaps even donations too. Alternatively she suggests a calendar “featuring all your favourite sector figures and suppliers naked except for strategically placed tabards, clipboards and cheap ball pens.”
And who said there wasn’t enough ‘navel gazing’ in the fundraising sector?…
