Clare Berry leaves Mothers' Union
Clare Berry is to leave the Mothers’ Union at the end of September to set up her own marketing consultancy business.
Clare initiated the recent Mothers’ Union (MU) awareness campaign to re-position the organisation and publicise its voluntary community programmes both in the UK and overseas.
She joined the MU as its first ever Marketing Manager in 2001, after a spell at business consultants BSG in the City of London. During her tenure she has overseen the launch of the MU’s first ever album, ‘The Eternal Colllection’, various PR campaigns highlighting the importance of parenting and relational skills, and a media relations programme to raise public awareness of the MU, its ideals and resources in support of marriage and families.

She also oversaw the successful bid to Comic Relief, which resulted in an award of over £700,000 to fund the MU’s ongoing literacy programme in central Africa.
