Mystery donor offers £150,000 to hospice

Howard Lake | 1 September 2004 | News

An anonymous donor is offering to pay £150,000 to secure an area of land for a children’s hospice in Huddersfield.

The hospice is still awaiting planning permission, but if that is given, the gift will be the largest received by the Forget-Me-Not Trust. So far the organisation has raised £450,000 since 1998.

According to icHuddersfield, the new hospice will cost £2 million to build and £1.5 million to run each year.
