Fisk Brett announce annual Progress user conference date

Charity software specialists Fisk Brett have announced that their annual User Conference for users of their Progress contact management database will be held on 21 October 2004.

The 11th annual one-day user conference will be held at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London. The theme of the event will be to ask users how well they know their supporters.

A series of sessions will shed new light on the functionality within Progress that can be used to improve organisations’ relationships with their supporters.

Speakers at the event include Alan Clayton of Cascaid who will discuss the motivations of philanthropy, Daryl Upsall of Daryl Upsall Consulting International who will take the keynote session on how non-profits can begin to understand their supporters, and Neville Hilton of AFD Postcode Software who will discuss geodemographics.

Other sessions include Making Strategic Decisions with Progress, Events Management, Getting Started with BACS and AUDDIS, and Administering a Membership Scheme.

Marianne Eyre, organiser of the User Conference, said: “We aim to help users get to grips with the functionality within Progress to show them how they can be more creative and strategic in their relationships with supporters.

Bookings for the course taken before 1 September 2004 will qualify for a 10% discount.
