Volunteers sought for major donor code of practice working party

Howard Lake | 16 August 2004 | News

The Institute of Fundraising is inviting applications from individuals who wish to join a working party to develop a new code of practice on major donor fundraising.

Topics to be covered include defining major donor fundraising, data protection, prospect research and legal issues. The code will also consider issues of diversity and methods to engage major donors further in fundraising.

The Institute is particularly keen to include a major donor, a prospect researcher and fundraisers with major donor fundraising experience in the working party. A full schema for the Code and application forms to join the working party are available on the Institute’s website on the codes development page.
