EUConsult to boost charity consultancy in Eastern Europe
EUConsult, the European Association of Consultants to and about Not-For-Profit Organisations, is launching a new initiative to support the advancement of consultancy services to this sector in the 10 new member countries of the European Union.
A comprehensive programme is being developed specifically for consultants based in the EU10 countries who are in the early stages of their careers.
A limited number of consultants will be given the opportunity of participating in an intensive two-day training course to be held directly prior to the Association’s 2005 Annual Summer Conference in Poland, which they would also attend. Also included will be a one-year affiliate membership of EUConsult and participation in the organisation’s Winter Conference.

Participants selected for the programme will therefore benefit from professional training, conference programmes of specific interest to consultants working with not for profit organisations, and access to a network of top-level consultants in 11 countries who are committed to high standards and ethical practices.
EUConsult hopes that the relationships forged through this project will provide a strong basis for innovation and excellence in expanding civil society activities in Eastern Europe.
