Food and fundraising often go together, so it’s a pleasure to find another example of donating to charity by buying chocolate – Guylian’s chocolate seashells to be precise.

Many food retailers raise funds for charity by making a donation for every item sold. Pizza Express, for example, has raised over £1.3 million for The Venice in Peril Fund and the National Trust’s Neptune coastline appeal.

Belgian chocolate manufacturer is also donating to an environmental charity, Project Seahorse. The company makes a donation for each box of its ‘Original Chocolate Sea Shells’ sold.
