New professional fundraising association in Kenya

The Resource Alliance is helping Kenyan fundraisers set up a national fundraising association.
The Kenya Association for Fundraising Professionals will be launched in June 2004. It aims to “encourage people involved in fundraising and local resource mobilisation to adopt and promote high ethical standards and inject professionalism into fundraising practice.”
The national association is being set up with support from the Nairobi office of the Resource Alliance.
