Boots chooses Tommy’s, the Baby Charity as charity of the year

Tommy’s the Baby Charity is to partner with high street retailer Boots in a one-year affiliation beginning in April 2004.

The aim of the partnership is to raise £200,000.

The first fundraising initiative is the sale of character pin badges that will be available in Boots stores throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland from 5 April 2004. There are four to collect; Gerry the Giraffe, Tommy the Tortoise, Topsy the Tiger and Ziggy the Zebra and they will be on sale for a suggested donation of £1.
