Deadline for New Media Age Effectiveness Awards approaches
The deadline for entries to the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2004 is 16 January 2004.
Launched in 1997, the NMA Effectiveness Awards are some of the most prestigious in the new media calendar. They recognise not only projects that were launched in the judging year (to 16 January 2004) but als projects that have shown substantial improvement and effectiveness during the year. So, if you’ve been particularly successful or innovative in your online fundraising, this is your opportunity to spread the word.
The awards include a category for the charity and voluntary sector. Last year’s winner was the Consumers’ Association. The category award recognises work done in interactive media to generate awareness or raise funds for charities. Entries can include Web sites, online advertising or sponsorships, or online campaigns. The category is only open to registered charities. It is sponsored by the Home Office Active Community Unit, which incidentally has a small bursary to assist smaller charities with the cost of entering the awards. One of the judges will be Anne-Marie Huby, Managing Director at JustGiving, which won the NMA Grand Prix award in 2002.
