The Vodafone UK Foundation is supporting children’s charity I CAN’s annual fundraising gala in February 2004.

I CAN helps children with speech and language difficulties so there is a clear link with Vodafone and its interest in communication issues.

The Chatterbox Ball, to be held at The Savoy Hotel in London on 24 February 2004, will be specially themed “The Art of Communication”. Around 350 guests will attend the fundraising events, which will be hosted by broadcaster Michael Buerk.

“The Vodafone UK Foundation has long supported I CAN because Vodafone is all about communication,” commented Gavin Darby, Trustee of The Vodafone UK Foundation & Chief Executive Officer at Vodafone UK. “Vodafone as a business makes chatter matter and through supporting this extremely worthwhile event, we can make communication available for all.”
