AMA Charity Services invests in call centres

Anderson Manning Associates (AMA), the contact centre and telemarketing operator based in Northern Ireland, has set up a new base in Londonderry and is expanding its existing centre in Bangor with a £2.5 million investment.
AMA says that the investment has resulted in the creation of 250 jobs. The Derry office will be employing 100 operators in early 2004.
Fintan Bradley, Director of AMA Charity Services Ltd, said of the investment and expansion plans: “We’ve developed a strong team in Bangor, able to service the specific needs of our charity clients, and we are now thrilled to access the rich talent available to us in the North West – which can only be good news for our customers.”

AMA Charity Services Ltd celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this year. It started life in 1993 with five employees as a telesales agency. Now its specialist services to charities include inbound and outbound telemarketing campaigns, direct mail, fulfillment, response handling, warehousing, graphic and Web campaign design.
